WHY TO CHOOSE DUBAI

Why choose Dubai? There are plenty of reasons why Dubai should be on your travel list. Here are some things you should know before going to Dubai!

First of all because of Safety – Dubai is one of the safest cities for tourists. Crime rates are extremely low, and the city is well-policed, making it an ideal destination for solo travelers and families alike.

Second, if you love to visit gourmand places this is the one for you. Culinary Paradise is a phrase that can describe the city– Due to its large expatriate population, Dubai offers one of the most diverse culinary experiences in the world. Whether you crave Middle Eastern flavors, Asian delicacies, or Michelin-starred dining, Dubai is a paradise for food lovers.

In terms of Cultural Blend you should know that even if the UAE is a Muslim country, it’s not as conservative as you would expect it to be. You can dress as you would if you visited another city. Just keep in mind not to overexpose your body. But you can go to the beach, as swimwear is acceptable without coverage around the beach or pools areas. The only thing that you need is to pay attention to the expression of affection in public. That is considered inappropriate even if you think that is just a hug or a kiss.

Luxury and Shopping is something that can attract you to see in Dubai– From the world’s largest shopping malls to traditional souks, Dubai is a shopper’s paradise. Whether you’re looking for high-end brands, gold, perfumes, or unique souvenirs, there’s something for everyone.

There are some Unique Experiences that you can try– From desert safaris to indoor skiing, Dubai constantly reinvents itself with new attractions.

    GETTING THERE

Flying to Dubai is a breeze with its well-connected Dubai International Airport (DXB). I was impressed by how many direct flights there are from major cities around the world. Make sure to check if you need a visa before you travel. Many nationalities can get a visa on arrival, but it’s always best to double-check to avoid any surprises.

    SAFETY

Dubai is one of the safest cities I’ve visited. I felt comfortable exploring the city at all hours. Crime rates are very low, and the city is well-policed. However, it’s still wise to take standard precautions, like being aware of your surroundings.

    WHEN TO VISIT

You are wondering if the weather is something to consider knowing before going to Dubai? A lot of people are concerned about the best time to visit Dubai. I can tell you that you can visit anytime. Many people recommend avoiding summer, but that actually depends. Since everybody is looking to visit in the winter months, you can guess that it will get crowded then, so the warmer months will offer you another experience.

I visited Dubai in December for the first time, since I was scared about the heat. The second time in June. And I can tell you I loved it more in the summer. Even if the temperature is lower in December, the humidity is higher. In winter months the beach and the restaurants are always crowded.

And that is why I chose to go back to Dubai in the summer the third time. You can do the same activities as you would in the winter. You can walk outside, except for 3 or 4 hours at noon. But that gives you the best opportunity to visit some of the indoor places that Dubai has to offer. And believe me there are plenty.

Things to Do in Dubai for first time visitors

    1. Burj Khalifa – The tallest building in the world offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city from its observation decks. Visit at sunset for an unforgettable experience.
    2. Dubai Mall – A shopper’s paradise with over 1,200 stores, an indoor ice rink, an aquarium, and a massive entertainment complex.
    3. Dubai Fountain Show – Located at the base of the Burj Khalifa, this mesmerizing water and light show is a must-see.
    4. Old Dubai & The Souks – Visit the Gold Souk, Spice Souk, and Textile Souk for a taste of traditional Dubai.
    5. Desert Safari – Experience Dubai’s desert with dune bashing, camel rides, and traditional Bedouin-style entertainment.
    6. Palm Jumeirah – An artificial island home to luxury resorts like Atlantis The Palm and stunning waterfront views.
    7. Jumeirah Beach & The Walk at JBR – Perfect for a relaxing day by the sea with restaurants, shops, and water sports activities.
