Morning

8:30 AM – Explore Old Dubai: Al Fahidi Historic District and Dubai Creek

Start your day with a visit to Al Fahidi Historic District, also known as Bastakiya. This area offers a glimpse into Dubai’s past with its narrow lanes, wind towers, and traditional courtyard houses. Visit the Dubai Museum, located in the Al Fahidi Fort, to learn more about the city’s history and heritage.

From Al Fahidi, take a short walk to Dubai Creek. For a unique experience, hop on an abra (traditional wooden boat) and cross the creek to the Deira side. The abra ride is both scenic and affordable, costing just 1 AED.

10:30 AM – Gold Souk and Spice Souk

Once you’ve crossed the creek, explore the bustling souks (markets) of Deira. Afternoon

1:30 PM – Dubai Fountain Show

After lunch, take a taxi or the Metro to the area of the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Located right outside this you will find The Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain. This offers a mesmerizing water, music, and light spectacle. Shows run every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with two shows in the afternoon at 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM (additional afternoon shows at 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM on Fridays).

2:30 PM – Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall

Head straight to the observation deck on the 148th floor for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Tickets are available online, and booking in advance is recommended to avoid long queues. The view from up there is definitely unique and incomparable.

After soaking in the views, take a short walk to The Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world. With over 1,200 shops, an indoor aquarium, and an ice rink, there’s plenty to explore. Don’t miss the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, where you can see a variety of marine life up close. It’s a great way to wrap up your afternoon visit to this area.

Evening

5:00 PM – Jumeirah Mosque

Next, make your way to Jumeirah Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in Dubai. The mosque is open to non-Muslims, and guided tours are available through the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. Don’t forget that if you plan to visit this place to be dressed accordingly. The tours provide a fascinating insight into Islamic culture and traditions so it is an interesting visit.

6:30 PM – Dinner at Pierchic

For a memorable dining experience, head to Pierchic, an over-water restaurant offering stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Burj Al Arab. Located at the end of the pier at Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah, Pierchic serves a delectable seafood menu in a romantic setting. Reservations are recommended.
